I thought it was quite interesting that some Protestants believe in such things, if you don’t know, some Protestant Bibles has the word “beguiled” for when God asks Eve what she has done when she ate of the fruit.

Any explanations? My Bible takes up the word “Tricked”.

Thoughts?

Aren’t the two words synonymous in this context?

“Beguiled” means “charming or enchanting someone, in a deceptive way”, which is exactly what the serpent (Satan) did to Eve: it deceived her by promising that eating the fruit of the Tree of Life would turn her into a god. It does not refer to a literal sexual seduction.

The “serpent seed doctrine” is foolishness, and has no support from either the Bible or Sacred Tradition. (In fact, Genesis 4 explicitly states that Adam and Eve were the parents of Cain; is Scripture lying?) This is a fringe belief, not endorsed by the majority of Protestants, which has been linked to racism and anti-Semitism. It cannot be condemned too strongly.
