There’s no need to fear! Underdog is here!
Not to make you guys jealous or anything, but I had the Underdog costume! 🤣
I’m so jealous! The only character I remember being is Minni Mouse! I would have remembered Undergog!

If I still had kids, TJ Maxx has great costumes!

Back in the day my husband (a talented artist) was in charge of costumes. He made extravagant costumes, the sort that come out of a professional costume shop.

I would usually get my costumes from that store but I’ve been noticing they sell a lot of immoral costumes/ items, so I am trying to stay away from there.

TJ Max has costumes? I want to dress as Andy Warhol this year but can’t find the right wig.

They have great kids costumes.

For wigs, check out your local Cos-Play shop or look on Amazon.

I remember it well.

I needed my combat boots but couldn’t find them.

I was the Punisher, last year.
If you’re guilty, you’re dead! I have a huge Punisher poster framed on my office wall…nearby is Wolverine. Actually, I have several Wolverine posters as he’s my fav! 😂. Snikt, Bub.

Embarrassed to say…I never got into DC comics. The Superman story turned me off completely (I’m a heathen after all!) as a superhero with no weaknesses was just pointless…they later gave him problems with kryptonite which still seemed silly. Marvel always seemed to have their hero’s have weaknesses which made them more relatable.

All that blathering basically means…I’ve never heard of this comic character! 🤣🤣🤣

Fair enough. Almost every store sells something that’s immoral anymore, so I don’t personally see the utility in boycotting most places for that reason.

My (adult ) child is a huge Punisher fan. Decorates everything in Punisher motif. I supply a great deal from my trips to SF/comic cons. Back before the Dark Ages.

Bah. Also, Bah. Grew up on DC, funny animals and WD comics. Carl Barks is the greatest comic genius of all time. Marvel came later, mainly due to a friend of mine in the business.

I think of an idea and then google it - looking at the various options and stores. Choose from there.

Sometimes a costume is put together from various places, depending on what it is. For example, the boots from Amazon, glasses from Walmart, costume from Party City or similar, and maybe another piece from HalloweenExpress, Halloweencostumes, etc. I wouldn’t order from just ‘any’ website and never from a brand new, fake looking, overseas or pop-up site - nor from any site that wasn’t https. But the ‘big name’ costume sites that sell online have great prices and make it easy to find what I’m looking for.

Bah. And also Bah.

I had some small exposure to European comics, due to friends of a friend. Nothing to report.

I collect bound classics (comic and strips), very few other things, for a number of reasons, including my personal quirks. Individual comics, probably less than IK, over the past 45 years. Over the past 10+ years, probably less than 50. Have to have a very good reason.

I always enjoyed them…it’s funny…I never specifically collected them like I have with Wolverine. Oh, and I’m 68 so I’m beyond adult supposedly! 😂😂😂

One final thought and I’ll drop my love of Wolverine!

Yes, he was the rough and gruff character that had the heart of a true samurai. One of stories where Professor X sent him to deal with a newly forming mutant that had the power of a nuclear explosion. It’s ends with Wolverine having to kill him as his power was just too deadly and uncontrollable. His anger at the Professor for sending him to do the Professors dirty work and the anguish of what he was forced to do had me literally in tears. I’m not a tear jerky girl but that one really got to me!

I am looking for a harry potter halloween costume, and the only place I seem to find a good one is the spirit halloween stores, but i am hesitant to buy from them because they also sell demonic accessories and ouiji boards etc. Would it be sinful for me to purchase something from them?

Dude, you don’t even want to know. I like like a slightly better dressed hippie. And some people find hippies REALLY scary.
