Halloween family joy and tradgedy

I just wanted to ask those of you to read this, if you would remember this family in your prayers.

I come from a Baptist background (now in RCIA ) and went to the same church my whole life, and pretty much consider the members there as part of my extended family. Well…This one particular family that goes there had a horrible halloween…That morning a new addition was added to the family, a baby girl, and the third grandchild. Every one in the family was there for the birth and to celebrate her arrival. That night however, the two grand parents and their youngest son (25…my age) were driving home and were in an accident. The matriarch of the family was killed instantly, the other two had only mild injuries. All of this on the day of her granddaughters birth, and only 2 weeks shy of her only daughters wedding. She was the glue that held them together, and the family is totally devastated. So if you would remember the Dyess family in you prayers. Thankyou.
 
Oh that is terribly sad. 😦 My thoughts and prayers are with them.

you have made death itself
the gateway to eternal life.
Lock with love on this person and all who have preceded us in death.
Grant special grace upon this family.
Allow them to always remember this day for the birth
and not for the tradgedy.

What a horrible tragedy, I cannot even imagine. The family has my prayers.

I’m so sorry, this is sad one was taken and one was given, I pray for the entire family.
That they may have the grace to hold on to each other and pray together. We don’t know, why but continue to pray.

Thanks everyone, they will need all the prayers they can get. Due to injuries, there was an unexpected surgery so the funneral is on hold for a couple more days. My family just got the invite to the wedding yesterday 😦 I can even imagine what they must be going through. Thanks again and God bless.
