I had a woman come back because I wanted to ask her questions, more of a challenge. We have had pairs return in the past and it was very interesting. Well, I guess she was under the impression I wanted a Bible study. We found out she and her husband used to be catholics, but are staunch JWs now. The saddest thing she said was that she would rather die than convert back.
 
I just say I’m catholic and I believe Jesus is God, and have a good day they leave they however got me back to catholicsm the only religion that visited me when I broke leg got me reading bible so thanksful john 1 is easy to remember in case they come again and get their bibles out just say you believe in the catholic bible as the right one. Tracts unlikely to work for all reasons given but everyone’s different.

They won’t take it or will discard it right after so it is a waste of your time. To them, anything not published by the Watchtower is satan. They are a cult. Any group who if you leave, people shun you or won’t talk to you or chase you around trying to bring you back, is a cult. And that is exactly what they do.

I try to invite them to share what they believe, if they will afterwards listen to what I believe, and to answer any questions I would have for them, and I would do likewise in return.

I would like to point out, that being against the “ism”, as in “Catholicism” as WTS, and others are, is not being anti-“ic”, as in “anti-Catholic”. A “Catholic” is a person, while “Catholicism” is a system of belief/practice. A person who does not care about other persons generally wouldn’t go knocking on doors to share.

Rev_2:6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
Rev_2:15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.

Psa_119:104 Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.
Psa_119:128 Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.

Rev_3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

If we could rightly discern the difference between the two, and not mix them.

I used to get them at our old address and would ask: Do you believe in truth and honesty?
Yes would be their quick reply! Okay then, where’s your permit to solicit?

Those two lines quickly ended their pitch/visit and hopefully put the bug of hypocrisy in their heads.

The person who is trustworthy in very small matters is also trustworthy in great ones; and the person who is dishonest in very small matters is also dishonest in great ones.

They used to come to my house every couple of weeks. I think now my wind chimes, St. Francis and Blessed Mother statues repell them. And oh yeah, maybe our Great Dane has something to do with them skipping our house as well. Come to think of it, I havnt seen the Mormons in a while either. But they are all most welcome at my home any time, I’m just but buying what they are selling.
 
They always try to evangelize people walking around in my country. I told them that I was Catholic. Told me to return to the “real church”.
