I am a very hands on learner. Books don’t help me learn much of anything. Is there a hands on way to grow my faith? Thanks!
While doing the Corporal Works of Mercy is a great idea, I am afraid I don’t really have any time to do volunteer work because I am either going to college, working, drowning in homework, or finally getting a chance to relax for a short bit.Yes!
Try doing any of the Corporal Works of Mercy! Saint Mother Teresa certainly grew much in her faith through her merciful ministering to the poor!![]()
Have you ever tried saying a morning offering? It is a very short and simple act of offering your day to God for His greater glory and honor and the salvation of souls. Then everything you do becomes a prayer to God!While doing the Corporal Works of Mercy is a great idea, I am afraid I don’t really have any time to do volunteer work because I am either going to college, working, drowning in homework, or finally getting a chance to relax for a short bit. :
I do, however, enjoy helping others out when I am given the chance.![]()
Good! Sounds like you are off to a good start! However, I don’t feel safe giving money to beggars or picking up hitchhikers though.![]()
I often go to Friday daily Mass for confession because I work Saturday afternoons a lot. I enjoy it!Growing your faith takes some amount of investing your time. What about daily mass? Even once or twice a week is beneficial.
