Congratulations! and so glad the announcement to MIL went so well.
My younger daughter had #1 ten months after the wedding; 18 months between #1, 2 and 3; when she told her in-laws #4 would be born 20 months after #3 the reaction was bad. In her case MIL has 6 children herself; elder SIL has 3 (we think she may be jealous of the bigger family); next SIL is battling to conceive, and we fully understand how that affects their response. I only have 2 children and was over-the-moon with delight at the prospect of a 4th grandchild; my elder daughter is also battling to conceive, and a baby for her will be miraculous; yet, for the longest time she and I were the only ones being joyful at all about the imminent arrival of another baby - so sad that was.
May everyone continue to be joyful about this, and any other babies God sees fit to grant you.
