I need some help understanding what is going and if I need to address it.

Our priest at the point where usually it is said…Happy are those who are called to His supper…

Has started improvising with

Happy are those who are called to:
this community
who are part of this community
as one with this community

This feels and sounds all wrong. If all we are called it to the community, then what is the point of Holy Communion and Jesus?

Ask him what he means and watch the long silly answer that follows, at least maybe he will examine his words and think about it. You don’t need to attack him about it just point it out to him and let God take care of it. Either he will allow God to guide his concience or he will obstinantly continue, yet he is a Priest of God so be respectful no matter how crazy he thinks.

I recently called my diocese about them fractioning the Precious Blood and the long stupid answer was enough for me to just quietly ask some questions and let them be until I can do more good. (they were worried about bugs in the wine and symbolism)

Just attacking sometimes will do more harm than good, yet asking careful questions might help someone examine their thinking. Many slippery Catholics use feelings to base their faith and to just react will just make them react negatively.

In short, yes it is wrong to do what he is doing but to just point it out will probably get you no where as everyone knows it is wrong. He just needs to open his heart and maybe you can help.

God Bless
