Hello all! 🙂 Today is my Feast Day!! My middle name is Carmella after Our Lady of Mount Carmel!! (Find out more here) Please pray with me as we remember our Mother’s great love of us and the special gift she has given us, her scapular.

O Most beautiful flower of Mount Carmel, fruitful vine, splendor of Heaven, Blessed Mother of the Son of God, Immaculate Virgin, assist me in this my necessity.
O Star of the Sea, help me and show me herein You are my Mother.
O Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and Earth, I humbly beseech You from the bottom of my heart to succor me in this necessity. There are none that can withstand Your power.
O show me herein You are my Mother.
O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to Thee.
O show me herein You are my Mother.
O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to Thee.
O show me herein You are my Mother.
O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to Thee.
Sweet Mother, I place this cause in Your hands.
Sweet Mother, I place this cause in Your hands.
Sweet Mother, I place this cause in Your hands.

Please forgive me if this is the second thread about this Feast day!

Our Father which art in Heaven
Hollowed be thy name
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done
On earth as it is in Heaven

Give us this day, our daily bread
Forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us

Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil

Amen

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou among women,
and Blessed is the Fruit
of Thy Womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

I love this prayer. I always say it. It always works wonders. Happy feast day!! Hope you’re having a lovely day.

Lord, I pray that Carmella has a happy holy birthday filled with the choicest of blessings. Thank you Our Lady of Mt. Carmel for calling me to your order of discalced Carmelite seculars. Though I am only an aspirant right now, I pray to be worthy of making vows when the time comes. Lord, bless Fr. Kevin, who hopefully will be my spiritual director in the Fall and who also is a Carmelite. Bless Fr. Samuel and Fr. Raphael and all of my family, Lord on this beautiful solemnity for us associated with the discalced Carmelite order. Amen.
