Happy Name’s Day to all my fellow followers of Jesus named Timothy, or derivatives thereof.

St. Timothy is the patron of those with stomach disorders.

No longer drink only water, but use a little wine for the sake of your stomach and your frequent ailments. (1 Timothy 5:23)

I’m going to uncork a bottle of wine and have a glass tonight after Mass in his honor. My girlfriend said that St. Paul should have recommended Kombucha.

The name Timothy means “To honor God”. I’m doomed. 😦

My wife and I generally always have a glass of red wine with our dinner every day. I’ve never been to a meal other than breakfast in Italy that didn’t have a decanter of red wine on the table. My wife and Iove Italy 😛

LOL about the Kombucha… Maybe St. Paul would have if he knew of it!

What does it mean if you have a stomach ache on St. Timothy’s feast day? I have one!
 
A friend of mine, Tim B. was a REAL BLESSING to
me yesterday, I was down in the dumps and his
greeting and concern about my condition cheered
