Great Homily today. We have Christmas-the Birth of Jesus. Easter- the Birth of Eternal life and Pentacost - the Birth of the Church. And all about the Holy Spirit as part of the Living God in the Trinity.

Wear red to Mass!
 
Our Parish did this. We also would have our annual picnic on the “birthday” of the church.
Maybe some will continue this local tradition. Thanks for the thread! 😉
 
We are asked to wear red on Pentecost at our church too. We are having a potluck
tomorrow.
 
Many in the Sunday Congregation wore red today. The reader had decorated a hat with red plumage. It looked great. We had morning tea afterwards. And baptisms .

Today, Joe and I are humbled to be serving as Godparents for 3 beautiful children who were adopted by some Catholic friends and are coming into the Church.
They are excited, and we are too, especially on this most glorious Feast!

Please say a little prayer for Gage, Gavin, and Renae! 🙂
