Hard times continuing

My husband was supposed to get a promotion that would take us out of paycheck to paycheck mode. It was supposed to go through over the weekend but still has not. Additionally, our car was damaged in an accident and though the damage looked minor, we were just informed there might be frame damage, indicating a total loss. This would be our second total loss since 2014 and neither accident was our fault. We can’t afford another car unless he gets the promotion, and even then it would not be optimal since the money we would get back from the insurance company would only cover our current car loan amount. We don’t live in an area where we can survive without a car and it’s getting cold enough that we will soon not feel comfortable making the long walk to church with our baby. Please pray that everything will work out for the best and that God will provide for us.

Lord Jesus You watched Joseph work hard to provide for Your Mother and You.
It never was easy. He lost his work and contacts when You were an unborn baby and he and Mary had to go to Bethlehem, from whence Your family had to flee as refugees in Egypt with you as an infant…Joseph had to find work in that foreign county to support you and Your Mother, and doubtless had to learn some Egyptian in order to do so,

Joseph was back to square one when Your family relocated to Nazareth. Once again he had to find housing, work, and reputation for his carpentry skills.
In memory of Your own family struggles to provide, please have mercy on AClaire11 and her husband in these painful difficulties…and mercy upon others who are also struggling with the burdens to survive and flourish.
 
Praying for God’s providence to be shown to you to work things out for your good during this difficult time.
 
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that any one who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular (AClaire11 and her husband, and her family), and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. Thank you for your prayers. My husband spoke to the auto shop today and they finally explained things better. They’d basically have to take our car apart to fix it and said it’s very rare for a car with frame damage to not be totaled. So we will be without a car for months, probably.
 
Praying. . . . Prayer of Apology and Thanksgiving because of forgetfulness to say “thank You” to Our Lord for all the blessings He pours over us and we do not even realize it. Am so very glad that the person who was driving that car did not get hurt! Thank You, Lord! 😉 🙂
