I don’t think Alec Guinness was a “no-name,” even before Star Wars. And I don’t think he’s the best example because he’s currently milking the trilogy (again) for 3D, which would then in turn be Blu-Ray’d and the original theatrical version (still covered under copyright) wasn’t on Blu-Ray. But otherwise…point taken.Take George Lucas who went everywhere to try to sell Star Wars. Fox was interested, he made a deal with them, cut in no-name actors for a bit of the profits and the rest is history. Nobody was forced to watch his movie.
