Harder for Priests to get to Heaven?

Is there anything in our faith that suggests Priests have it easier or harder to get to heaven?

There is a bible verse to the effect that Much is expected from he to whom much is given. Also I think it is James who says teachers will be judged more severely.

That I know of there is nothing per sy. BUT, they have the burden - which must be carried by Christ - yet the responcibility of shepperding the flock. In that sence it is harder, simply because they are responcible for the souls that Christ places in their flock. So for you, myself, our friends and family - we are responcible for our souls and to help the others that Christ places around us, or gives us prayer burdens for. Can you imagine what a priest must face in his life time - wow - by the grace of God.

At the same time then, it become our responcibilty to pray and support our priests. To provide for them every spiritual support that we can, to enable them to answer Christ’s call on their lives to the fullest. So then it becomes in a lot of ways, our responciblity to do everything we can through prayer, deeds, and our words to enable them to do what God is asking of them.

Bottom line - - they have a tremendous bruden!

Heaven begins on earth. A Holy Priest has a running head start
and through God’s Grace may achieve heaven while here on earth-as we all must strive for.

I try, I fail and I keep trying-there is no where else I would rather be than united with God.

Pray for Holy priests, forgive sinning priests, so that God may forgive your sins.

Priest’s have more responsibility than most. When they make mistakes, souls are lost. A priest looks after many souls, some may be fragile, if he loses them, he has a lot to answer for.

However, Priests are also in a great position to sanctify souls and they are given many graces and abilities with which to do this.
