How would you know what the carbon dating of the interior of the cloth would be if samples were only taken from the edge.Just curious.

Do you think God somehow ensured mankind would receive these numbers from our tests? I wonder if it means something? I mean, surely he knew one day in the early 2000s, mankind would have the technology to date something…this is interesting.

I cannot imagine what our world would look like in the year 8400!!!

**Yes, I think that the greatly enhanced C-14 content of the Shroud does have a prophetic meaning. In 1950’s above ground nuclear weapons testing caused the C-14 level in the earth’s atmosphere to about double.
Imagine what the effect of a global nuclear war would have on that atmospheric C-14 level.
Would it be enough to cause a plant that was harvested in the 21st century to carbon date to 6400 years into the future? **

For all of its research, this film failed to mention that two of the dates obtained by the radiocarbon labs in 1988 were thrown out, discarded, as “outliers,” indicating an age of only 540 years for the Shroud.

Have you any evidence for that?
