Harry Potter author discusses Christian content of series

I know, Harry has been done to death on these boards, but the author herself is stating this series is CHRISTIAN in character.

I haven’t personally read any of her books, but I never quite understood why children are attracted to books that have so much underlying themes going on? Of course, there is alot of action so maybe that’s it. But good luck to her, at least she’s got kids to open books and put down their video games.

She has a great imagination and her stories keep you waiting for the next part. I thought they were very good.

Especially reading the last one, I saw major influences of the Chronicles of Narnia on the Harry Potter series. So it can’t help but have some Christian themes built in.

My question was, is the author paralleling C.S. Lewis, and ending up with something that sounds Christian, or intentionally writing something with Christian themes, that ends up souding like C.S. Lewis?
