There has been so much confusion about the new Harry Potter Movie, does anyone know if the church has condemed it. I have read the catholic bishop movie reviews on the other three movies and they are good. I have heard that the Pope has said he puts a warning out about the books but the movie is ok. My Children have a sound spiritual life surrounded by the catholic church. They have read all the books and understand fantacy from reality, good from bad. There is such a split. It even seems to go into the hierarchy of the church. Thanks
 
If you go to www.dads.org (Steve Wood’s site) and do a search on ‘Harry Potter’, you will find quite a bit of information.
 
Harry Potter has a very Christian theme.

Harry (good) trys to defete Lord Voldemort (bad) who wants complete power (like satan) and Harry relizes that LOVE is the most powerful thing.

Isn’t LOVE Jesus Christ’s message?
