Are there any good stories about a scientist or materialist who lived his life demanding scientific proof of anything in which he believed…and then witnessed or experienced a miracle which lead him to scrap his personal criteria? Recognizing that “science” is not the end-all, but data collected by our 5 senses on the occasion of the observation?

In the original examinations of the Shroud of Turin the scientist ended up saying, “So there is a God then!”

“Meet The Witnesses” is a good book about the Fatima miracle in the secular Portugal in 1917.

Quite a few atheists were in the crowd of 70,000 to 100,000 and i haven’t read of one that didn’t change their minds during the Fatima miracle.

Any links to either of these stories as a resource? Otherwise, I’ll check out the book! Thx.
