I’d pay real money to see the look on Bennett’s face when October 17th comes and goes if we’re all still here.
 
Yes, I’ve heard of him. National Geographic has done two specials on him, and last I heard he was going to court for child abuse, and may be in prison now. He also predicted the world would end in '08…

hi bill. this guy has already been convicted and sentenced to 10 years for misconduct with a minor. currently serving time. good doctor phil video on this cult, if you put in strong city cult, and get the video results.

Power corrupts. In this case, religion provides the power. Power often needs sex to prove itself. Sex with young girls seems to attract men who need someone very weak to have power over, and breaking the taboo is thrilling, I suppose.
 
This cult is actually in New Mexico, not Mexico.

Bennett is serving 10 yrs for the child charges, and is currently trying a hunger strike.

The last report I heard on that is that he was taking water, and “Ensure”, which is a dietary aid often used with people that can’t eat for health reasons. (not much of a hunger strike).

The courts have also told the prison officials they can force feed if necessary.
