I’ve heard about it. Its got some good reviews, but when I read that it doesnt show the BVM, and instead takes an “artistic” path in that when Bernadette sees the BV, all we get is the camera panning to water and music and bubbling brook effects…sounds nice, but thats not how I want my spiritual movies to be…it somehow denies something. This is at least from what I read…I havent seen the film, but unless someone says that we the viewer SEE Mary as Bernadette sees her, I’ll just stick with the Classic from the 40s.
