Has Anybody Prayed This Type Of Novena?

This isn’t a direct response to your question, and I apologize for that. But I’m a little nervous about the way all of this is presented.

Let’s just nip a presupposition someone might glean from this in the bud: simply praying a Hail Mary 1000 times for 9 days isn’t going to somehow strong-arm God into doing what you want. Now, crystal waters, I’ve seen your posts, and I really, really doubt that that’s how you’re approaching this. I’m sure that you want to treat this as a real devotion, and that you’re going about all of this understanding that prayer requires humility, reverence, and attention. I’m sure you don’t have a superstitious attitude.

But *someone *reading this might, and I just wanted to point out that that’s not a valid Catholic approach to prayer.

No, I’m not in the least bit superstitious 😃 I know that prayer is only answered if it is Gods Will to answer it and praying a 1000 times wont guarantee an answer anymore than saying any other novena as God will only grant our requests if they are his will…i was just wondering if anybody had used this type of Novena before?

God bless you

I say a rosary when at Adoration.
Can’t go wrong there.

The site is very old, and speaks of an apparition that has not yet been approved.
There’s many wonderful Novenas.
This one just sounds wonky. IMHO. I agree with t other poster.
No shortcuts to God’s will.
