I have heard once only in my life, and still remember her voice. That was just out of my expectation, and I never requested Mary to speak again, even I would love to. :o

Has anyone ever heard Mary’s voice?

I would like to know more such as in what situation, and also describe her voice. 🙂

jesus, joseph the apostles and hundreds of other people, including her family, friends & neighbors who lived in the 1st century did

if you could find a young female who speaks aramaic; you would have a pretty good idea exactly what Mary sounded like when she spoke

I haven’t heard her voice, but once I did sense her presence.

Speaking is only one medium of expression,my wife, mother-in-law and myself all of a sudden smelled roses or a sweet fragrance of some kind. At that moment we all thought of the Blessed Virgin.

God Bless:)

So now I guess everyone now would think I had hallucination… 😊
I wish mother mary will speak once more or just appear to me, letting me know she did speak to me…

when I asked a priest friend about this question yesterday, he said not now but some saints in the past… when I told the story, he didn’t reply, i guess he thought I had hallucination… 😊… Ahh…

St. Juan Diego – as did his uncle – saw the Blessed Mother dressed as a beautiful Aztec princess and conversed with her in his native language of Nahuatl. I love the account of Our Lady of Lady of Guadalupe. Somehow, these accounts fill me with so much hope –– I feel as if I were there. I saw the tilma in 1979.

that’s good… but how did you sense? what did she do? 🙂
It was during a Rosary with a Catholic Charismatic group. One of those where there is a verse to go with each bead. There seemed to be a pink mist, or something like that, come into the room. Like she was joining in our prayers. That’s what I sensed. Like she not only approved of our prayers, but was also blessing us for being there.

About five years ago, I’d begun to feel a little tug on my heartstrings towards religious life. But I had a lot of pride and vanity and I fell into a very sinful relationship. . . I’d get invited out, go and see a young man who I didn’t actually care for but still wanted to impress, and then wind up sleeping with him. It was not for lust, but for the desire to be wanted and loved. Then I’d go back to my house and spend all night crying and begging God for help - not to let me fall again, not to let me be so evil… not to let me hurt Him like this again. Not to let me go out again, or do anything like this again. To kill me and my cowardly self first.

One night, in the middle of the night, I woke up and a lady spoke to me. I knew intrinsically that I could not hear her voice clearly because of my sins, but I also knew it was a woman, and I knew what she said. She asked, “Will you give yourself completely?” And I said “No!” It shocked me that I responded that way. . . But I knew part of giving myself completely meant coming clean about everything, and I was so afraid that doing so would mean that I would lose all the love and friendship of the people I loved. Still, after continually offering my heart to Christ in prayer, I was shocked to hear the word “no” come from my mouth. And then she asked me again, and again I said, “No!” Then she said, “Then pray the Rosary.” I told her, “But I can’t. I will fall asleep. I can only pray a decade.” She answered “Fine.” I felt like I’d annoyed her a little. I got up, got my rosary, and began to pray a decade. I fell asleep. And then my bed shook violently and I woke up, finished the decade, and went to sleep.

It was a turning point in my life. I got to see my heart for what it really was.

I don’t know if this was Mary. I think it was. But it was a personal experience, so please don’t put any weight in it. I only tell you for what it is worth to you.

I am glad someone had a similar experience, I didn’t get into sin but rather hurt by the closed ones and family. Last year one day I was hurt then I cried to and begged Mary in front of Mary statue in my room, and I prayed a complete Rosary. Then I went to sleep, just before I fell asleep (did not really fallen yet), I heard a very clear, calm, confirmed, and motherly voice spoke to my ear : “You should give up all things in this (secular) world.” I was awake immediately and shocked. But I didn’t response because I didn’t know how to. That was the only one time I heard her voice in my life.

The sentence you heard is similar to the sentence I heard, and also leads us to Rosary. I believe it was our mother Mary. She loves us so much. She wants us to detach from this world and give ourselves to God.

There was one time also, when I was sad and cried to Mary after Rosary, I felt an arm wrapped around my shoulder, then I felt peace.

I know who kicked your bed.

Peace

Not her voice, but instead the sweet and glorious scent of roses. I was at the Conyers,Ga apparition site back in the 1990s. It was pouring rain all day and my family and I were in the middle of a mud pasture there, waiting on the Rosary to start soon.

Outta nowhere, we were all hit with the strongest, most pungent, sweet smelling of roses you have ever expereienced. It last 30-45 seconds or so and suddenly left and was nowhere to be found. Mind you, we were in a muddy pasture, it’s pouring rain and there’s not a rose bush, tree, or any vegetation for some distance.

Age 6. Sister age 7. Our three year old brother was killed by a horse. The night of his funeral we were in bed talking about him. I told my sister I was worried there would be no one there to tuck him in and sing to him. My sister then said she could smell rose’s and asked if I could smell something. I said yes. There was a sudden light in the doorway, and a beautiful lady was standing there, but not on the ground.
She said, not to worry as he was with her and she would take care of him, and he was waiting for us to be back with him someday. It was a beautiful voice of a mother.
We dove under the covers and never said a word about it until we were in our fifty’s
when we finally talked about it.
We both remembered exactly what happened.
We have a special love for our Mother Mary.
