Has anyone ever made a love connection on CAF?

You know, I have been reading a few threads lately, posted by single people looking for Catholic men or women to have meaningful relationships with, and don’t seem to have success out on their own meeting practicing Catholics, or don’t want to test out a dating site for various reasons.

So I got to thinking…has anyone HERE ever made a love connection? I could have sworn I read about a couple or two last year who did.

I just think that there seems to be so many great Catholics here, why not try making a love connection here? I mean, you could at least get to know more people who are like-minded – all in one spot! Well, geography I guess would be an issue.

For those who have made a love connection, I’d love to hear your CAF love stories. I love dating/engagement stories.:love:

But, I also mentioned…why don’t people try to meet their soul mate on here? I mean…so many good single Catholic people on one forum…looking for mr/mrs right…I say, why not? I know that many are geographically not close to one another…but hey, if it’s God’s will, He’ll make a way!

I am a hopeFUL romantic.😉
 
A good way to see if their ideology matches your own too… as you can look at their posts…

Just kidding. I have befriended a few members of the opposite sex during my time here on CAF, but nothing more than platonic. I mean, there’s really not much information to go on, provided that this is not exactly a dating site. I’m far more inclined to find my match in real life, but I guess I can’t rule out meeting someone on here, either, if that’s God’s will.

Would love to hear some success stories, though, if there are any.
 
It may help IF there were a category for singles only. I think a lot of the folks here are married, and they should not be looking for any sort of love connection.

Yes, I already have someone for him, in mind. And she in mind for him. lol

And someone in mind for Norseman, too. lol! Seriously…why not? But…we will be sure to keep everyone’s names out of this thread…(but I really do have people in mind) 🙂

Has anyone on here found ANYONE to date…through the singles thread? You don’t have to say who, just curious because if I were single still, I would definitely look to this forum as an option. 🙂

OK, now you have my interest piqued. Should I guess, or will you tell me who it is?
 
I think it would be kind of hard given the nature of the internet where people are usually located several hundred or thousands of miles away from each other not to mention safety concerns.

I was contacted by one gent a while back but he lived on the other side of the country and was thinking of moving to Canada or Alaska. 🤷 I’m in the midwest. :confused:
 
CAF is about answers to Catholic questions, not really about dating. Though I suppose there’s nothing wrong to finding the answer to your prayers for a spouse on here.

I’m thinkin that was just a excuse cause he was a dud. LOL.

The problem with this though, is that suppose I think two people would be good together, but they don’t. :eek: 😛
