at a Catholic summer camp near where I live (CYSC.com - check it out!) I heard the voice of God within me during a time of Eucharistic Adoration and Praise and Worship… I was a 7th grader at the time and am now in high school and will attend for the last time as a camper this summer… just a small, internal voice… that has lead me to really take on my Catholic as my own and to pursue a prayer life…

How wonderful. I believe u entirely. Was that internal voice spoken to u in a way that gave u instant surety of its truth…a lasting knowledge?

I would say so, yes… I knew in my heart of hearts that it was Christ

I know what u mean. I have heard that same voice of peace and knowledge thats just infused into the heart…never forgetting.

Many times …it was a simple “i am with you”

When my dog was dying i prayed and heard (not with my ears) “i am with him.”

After he was gone…i was balling hysterically in my car driving…i heard and saw a vision of Jesus far away on a grassy hill…with animals running up to him in pure joy…and my dog was there running in circles …then it faded out.

But i was left with such a sense of peace that ive not grieved for him since. I know hes ok.
I realize that goes against doctorine…

But also ive seen visions of deceased old friends who were outside the Church.

Ive was told something sad in response to prayer regarding some ppl that are special to me in adoration a year ago. I hope it wont come true but i know it will.

Last lent during the Stations of the Cross…i saw Jesus in a clear vision in response to my prayers about not belonging anywhere in life.

Honestly…i think ive been granted time to ammend my past before i die. How much…idk.

I wish i could like your posts…i have no more likes.

Yes thats the question…u know ive had very bad health last 5 years that brought me close to death. It was then i realllly started seeking God and found His Church.

Now…i keep accidentally chancing upon my homilies and things i listen to and theyre talking about death. Like today on laudates meditation it was talking about living everyday as if youre going to die.

For a long time now ive been praying that i complete my purpose in life before i leave this world.

Sometimes i wonder if im getting premonitions if my own death that my time is near or if im just paranoid.

There was a time in my life when death terrified me because i knew my soul wasnt right with God. Now…i dont feel that way anymore.

Dont get me wrong i dont want to die which is ironic because ive spent most of my life wanting to.

Then i realized from nearly dying few years ago i was taking myself with me as was…no escape from myself…and it changed my world outlook and then i found the Church.

Would God give ppl feelings they didnt have much time on earth?

Idk

Good luck, Max. We need more priests; if that what God calls you to do. I’ve had so many mystical experiences in my life, I can’t count anymore. One was seeing a book made of light and hearing God’s voice. A fav of mine is when my son was diagnosed as failure to thrive, when he was born; I went to the hospital chapel and asked God: " If you have to take someone, take me. " God said: " Seek not solitude, thy son shall live. "

Yeah. My twins are, after God, the Holy Mother and the Church; is the great light of my life. In fact: My sons had got me through the hell of a divorce.

Amen!! 😊 God gave me those boys and I do the best I can by them. So many kids these days; their fathers abandon them after a divorce. I’m also teaching them my Catholic faith. Even though my ex is a very evangelical woman.

I commend u! Thats fantastic! They will always remember your love for them…and passing down the Catholic faith is so important. Good for u! I was not blessed with a loving dad or faith growing up…but i found God!

Are u going to be single the rest of your life also?

Thank you. 😊 As for the single part: I submitted an annulment petition to the Archdiocese; so I’m hoping to get a decree of nullity. I hope to marry a nice Catholic lady someday. 😊
