Weird internet stuff finds itself in my internet spam. I never open it, but apparently I have a package waiting for me at fedex and Natasha really wants to speak to me on facebook.

The Nigerian prince, poor man, whose assets were frozen, hasn’t contacted me for a long while. I hope he’s ok. 😉

Oh, definitely. The browser would be Tor, of course. I’ve never tried Tor or getting into the back alleys of the internet, myself, but I read a lot of books on cybersecurity in the interest of protecting the network at my job. It comes up a lot as the market where people buy the script or even complete programs they need to compromise websites and net-connected objects .

For what it’s worth, there’s a book out there called The Dark Net that might offer information on what’s in there.

I agree with an earlier user that the internet has gotten a lot more bland these days, probably because it’s used by so many people for routine things. There’s also the specter of censhorship…people used to think they could search for anything, read anything, and it was private, but now we know our ISPs and browsers monitor everything, and they’re willing to share that with corporations or the government.
