Has anyone used Mormon geneological research tools?

Did they ask you about the dvds you watched? If you rent dvds, advertisers who use product placement within movies and shows would still want to know that you are seeing their message on the dvd, so knowing which shows and movies folks are choosing to rent or buy is also valuable information.
No, they did not ask about the dvds at all.
 
I actually spent an entire afternoon in the Salt Lake City center. It is a massive complex and the folks there were very polite and very helpful. They have massive amounts of information on microfilm and an extensive library.

If you’re near or in your state capitol, another source that is good is your state archives.
Is there a fee charged to use the state archives?
 
I work in a public library, and our genealogist told me yesterday that one of the people in charge at the local LDS center had come in to show her the new website they’re currently testing. Our genealogist says it looks like it’s going to be a good site. People come in to our library all the time for genealogical research, and one of the sites we’ve recommended is the familysearch site. We have handouts for directions to the local LDS center, and I’ve never once heard of anyone being approached by any Mormon missionaries.
