Only Cook Islands residents and citizens (and their children and partners) are permitted to enter Cook Islands.

It depends on the state of course. In my state In just the last week I’ve been to a grocery store with a few hundred people. Home depot with a few hundred people and dogs. The gun store with about 30 people. Etc. but no Mass. above the bishops who all have closed mass the government has authority to prohibit religious observances. As it should. Hopefully some dangerous religious groups will now have the precedence to be shut down.
Gun stores are open?
In my state the governor defined “essential services” and i was surprised liquor stores are on there.

All “non essential” employers are closed.

No, not yet. The diocese live-streams Mass each day and Fr. has started live-streaming the private Mass he celebrates in the rectory chapel. The diocese’s requirements to actually allow the church to be open for prayer are so stringent that nobody wants to deal with them so the building remains locked.

Believe me, no hospital wants people suffering from DTs in their ERs or wards during this pandemic. That’s why liquor stores are deemed essential services.

Yep, liquor stores and gun stores and Taco Bell. But no Mass, no religious gatherings at all. Because you know, contamination…
To be fair just today a couple churches will offer confessions and adoration but make no mistake, I bought 600 rounds of ammo and some bourbon before I could go to a church.

I live in South Carolina, so obviously gun stores are essential.

I think there are some churches that are opened in my state, but my Bishop has currently suspended public Masses. I have kind of a rough idea of when we’ll go again. I mean, I haven’t been to Mass in about a month.

Not here, but the churches are open for prayer. There is supposed to be 10 or less in the church at any given time, but judging by the regular reminder emails we get from our pastor, it seems this rule is not adhered to very well in our parish.

So I went to another church next to my house last week, and it was empty the entire time I was there. It was nice because I was able to focus on prayer instead of worrying about who is going to sit right behind me. I’ll keep going there as often as my boss lets me take a long lunch.

Sadly, here in America, guns take priority over everything else.

Alcohol (and, where legal, marijuana) are considered vital to withstanding the stress of quarantine.

Gun sellers aren’t shepards of their people in the same way that bishops and priests are. They will do what the government says they can, whereas our bishops exercise further prudence. It’s not about essential vs. nonessential.

No.
I strongly recommend drive-in Mass (where it is permitted) and Confession.
