Hello.

Don’t know how to answer your question. Do you mean to say am I more at peace, or do you mean to say have I ticked off one of my life goals on my life goals list?

What do you mean by “happy?” Our goal on this earth is to be in Heaven with our Lord who is complete joy.

St. Paul said it was better to marry than to “burn.”

My husband is lovely to be around, helped bring me out of a very sinful life to where I eventually was readied for my “re-version,” is an excellent role model for me these past 26 years.

I think people are selfish who don’t marry who are clearly called to it → just my opinion. Very easy to rationalize obstacles to it because of this selfishness, on the other hand, it shouldn’t be entered into lightly.

Just my thoughts. Thanks for the topic.

Yeah. Happiness is defined differently from person to person. On one hand, happiness should not depend on whether a person or not is around. That is true, some sort of holy indifference, I guess. On the other hand, happil married folks are jus that, happily married. They could not imagine not having their beloved around.
