Has Mary ever appeared to YOU?

Each of your stories are very remarkable whether they strike interest or are just simply beautiful.

Most Holy Blessed Mother, thank you for your yes and for leading us to Our most Precious Lord Jesus. Amen.

nfreak141, that dream is truly interesting perhaps you dreamt of Our Lady of the Prairies?

Thérèse and Padre Pio). And one of my former spiritual directors did verify the miracle, since he has a bottle of normal, scentless Lourdes Water himself. (Yes, he did sniff both of them to double-check my statement! :D)

I also have a (blue) Rosary with Lourdes water in it, but it is so precious that I’ve never used it. Your story has inspired me to change that.

yes i had the grace of seeing our blessed mother in medjugorje ,after praying the rosary and singing the salve regina. she was beautiful and appeaed in a heavenly light i have never seen before.i also had a feeling of love coming over me and i wanted to go to heaven there and then ,
 
Not an apparition but after praying an emergency novena (memorare) the previous night about a dire situation, the next morning while praying, I heard a woman’s voice tell me that what I asked for had been granted. And the voice mentioned the specific request. Too make a long story short, what I asked for did happen. It was an impossible situation so I firmly believe that it was the Blessed Virgin (or an angel) who spoke to me.

I beleive that very much… I love Mark 11.23 I love the read that everytime I am desperate and I believe that we have the power given by God to move mountains. I believe that the Virgin will answer our prayers personally. awesome post. Made my day.

No, She has not. But i do however, feel like someone has their warm hands on my shoulders when im down on my knees praying the rosary. I can clearly feel what i believe to be Her hands. Its very comforting to me. I especially feel them when im feeling very distressed and praying the rosary.
I have a friend who has heard while praying the rosary a female voice telling her that everything would be ok.
On another note, when asking St. Therese to intercede, i have recieved roses and smelled roses many times. And when praying with St. Pio, I smelled sweet tabacco (?), jasmine, honeysuckle and roses…and the oddest smell of apple pie.
 
I have never had Our Lady appear to me personally, in a vision, but I do believe I have felt a comforting presence - like that of a mother - when I was praying, afraid and upset (I had sinned, and as I haven’t had First Confession yet, I say an Act of Contrition and look forward to confessing when I am finally able to rid myself from sin). Suddenly, I felt peaceful, with no fear or sadness. I believe Our Blessed Mother comforted me, as did God. 🙂

sometimes I smell Pontifical incense. in places where there never was incense. One time when I was driving a school bus in the snow in SD I would smell it.

No, but I did hear her call my name after Mass on the feast day of The Assumption. The person I was with and I went after and prayed the Rosary for women contemplating abortion that the Blessed Virgin Mary would interceed and bring about healthy, happy and safe babies. AMEN!
 
I’m a seminarian and while praying in front of the tabernacle, I was praying to Jesus that I wanted to see his face. This wasn’t a “let me see you to believe you” conversation. I am just tired of seeing Jim Caviezel’s face in my mind when I think of or pray to Jesus. I had a dream that night and no, it wasn’t jesus. I saw the face of Our Lady of Fatima. I was standing in a field and immediately the scent of roses was present. I turned around and she was standing in front of me. Not a picture, not a drawing, not an actor, but a real person that I have never seen before. I had to avert my eyes to the ground. I shielded my face with my arm and hand as if looking directly at the sun. It wasn’t a bright light that was causing me to do this. It was her radiant beauty that was causing me to look away. She didn’t say anything, but I said: “WOW, you are really beautiful!” Then the dream ended.

I can only guess it was Our Lady of Fatima, because she was wearing a white veil. When I woke up there wasn’t any smell of roses in my dorm room.

That was really beautiful. I offer up this prayer to our Heavenly Father thru the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary for you:

Not to me, but this thread reminded me of a story my mother told of our local parish priest. He has passed away now, bless his soul, but he was one of the holiest priests I’ve ever known - a monsignor in our parish. He was a very traditional priest, always reminding his parishioners of the church’s teachings, yet being very loving and empathetic to each and every one in his parish. My father used to drive him to his hospital visitation every day, and he would be very faithful in taking communion to any catholics who requested it in the hospital.

Anyway, long story short, after my dad passed away, this holy priest consoled my mother and remained active in his ministry even though he needed physical assistance even to climb the steps to the altar during mass. One day, after mass, my mother went to see him in the vestibule and found him in tears. Thinking there was something wrong, maybe he was in pain, she asked him what was wrong. He said there was nothing wrong, that he was in tears of joy because the Blessed Mother had appeared to him. I don’t remember if it was during that mass, or right afterwards in the vestibule, but he was clearly emotionally affected by the vision he’d had.

As far as I know he never told anyone else that story, and my mother only told me about it (she is now deceased). I don’t know if he received a message or not, and it doesn’t matter, it was just a very special private visitation he had, maybe as a reward for over 80 years of faithfulness as a holy priest.

Two Stories about Our Blessed Mother

I have read the story of Tre Fontane (Rome) where Our Blessed Mother appeared to the children of man who detested Catholicism and everything it stood for name Bruno Cornacchiola…You can read more about his conversion here:

Mother Mary has never appeared to me physically in a visual perspective yet, but I have had multiple instances in the last few years of Mother Mary’s presence.

My first incident I can recall was my Sophomore year in High School in 2010. After class my geometry teacher asked how my weekend was. I told him that my family and I went to a house nearby in Chicago that has images of the Mother Mary in Guadalupe and an image of Jesus dripping down with oil for many years. I took photos of the images and brought them home. And so, I told my teacher about this and he was a little surprised and doubted me a bit and asked for the picture. I told him I would bring it the following day. So, the next day came and I showed the picture to him after class and all of a sudden I had a sudden enflaming fire that heated my body with love and a motherly presence. I had never felt that ever before in my life. My whole body was burning up with heat but it was a comforting fire that felt as if I had done something that would change my teacher’s life.
