If you don’t mind me asking, how many days is your cycle? Is it beyond 28 days? I read somewhere that NFP is very difficult if your cycle is longer than 30 days.

Well two chldren in 4 years is what my hubby and I are hoping for:) We’ve got one down and another to go (if it’s in God’s plan).
Just popping in:

I have had cycles that have gone from 26 to 40 days, it hasn’t been difficult to do at all. My DD is 4 and when her sibling will be born, she will be almost 5.

I use billings method, and I like it pretty much.

Yes, -

we use the Marquette Model, through Marquette University’s NFP Institute. We decided on it because it does offer protocols for just about every situation, has medical professionals (Drs & NPs) who are available to help you if you need it ever, & an online forum for the method. It really helped us to have the crosscheck of the monitor with CM, my cycles were very wacky (24 to 36 days) & I had reproductive health issues (i.e. endo & others) which made me more nervous about only charting CM. I also don’t sleep well & was worried about how that would work with temping. This method also allowed DH to feel more comfortable with NFP, because of the techie side.

We used this to avoid for almost 2 years & then we discerned to put the chart aside for TTA, no active charting to avoid but I did chart for purely health reasons–we are now currently expecting #4 & we will use this method again if we need to avoid or space. Our other children weren’t not NFP babies, with our first we still contracepted & he was a beautiful surprise. #2 & #3 we weren’t doing anything to avoid and weren’t charting.

Anyway…looks like I wrote a lot:blush:
