I would think losing it would somehow nessecitate having once had it.
 
One of my friends once described someone as having a Large, Untalented Mouth. 😉
 
I agreed with you all until I heard an interview yesterday. His reason, whether one agrees with it or not, made sense to me. So maybe he is not losing it after all.
