  • Trump received the Bipartisan Justice Award at a historically black college for his criminal justice reform accomplishments. Out of all of the beneficiaries of Trump’s First Step Act, 91% of the total inmates released have been Black Americans! Unfortunately you don’t see this headline on liberal media outlets as much as we should.
  • permanently increased federal funding for Historically Black Colleges and Universities. In last couple years, funding increased by more than $100 million, a 17% increase, more than any President in history
  • increased funding for school choice by $42 million and has called on Congress to pass school choice legislation so no child is trapped in an under-performing school because of the school district they live in
  • Opportunity Zone Incentives to promote investment in low-income communities
  • In 2018 and 2019 African-Americans and Hispanics were enjoying their lowest unemployment rate, and highest median income in their history, largely due to President Trump’s policies.
  • President Trump supports funding for police, as 81% of Blacks want an increased police presence, despite leftist media’s misleading reporting

The bipartisan FIRST STEP Act that Trump championed was, in large part, an effort to alleviate the mass black incarceration created by the 1994 omnibus crime bill that Biden has “no regrets” about writing.

And what does Biden promise black voters, apart from unwarranted fearmongering about a “white supremacist” threat? He’s just offering the same policies that have failed the black community for decades: high immigration, high taxes, and fake-compassionate, dead-end handouts that offer no way out and up for America’s brothers and sisters.

Daniel J. Hopkins and Samantha Washington set out to measure the effect of Trump’s election on anti-black and anti-Hispanic prejudice, using a randomly-selected panel of 2,500 Americans whose changing opinions have been under study since 2008.

Americans, claim Hopkins and Washington, have actually become less inclined to express racist opinions since Donald Trump was elected. Anti-black prejudice, they found, declined by a statistically-insignificant degree between 2012 and 2016, before Trump was elected. But then after 2016 it took a sharp dive that was statistically significant. Moreover, contrary to their expectations, the fall was as evident among Republican voters as it was among Democrats. There was also a general fall in anti-Hispanic prejudice, too, although this was more evident among Democrat voters.

I applaud you for having well researched articles/sources and facts, rather than just screeching “Biden bad, Trump good”. Well done, brilliant post!!

Trump has lots of shiny medals but if you look closer you will see that he is just as much part of the establishment as Biden… Don’t fall for the theatre

Leo Terrell, the renowned civil rights attorney and self-described life-long Democrat, rattled off a number of the President’s achievements, including the lowest unemployment rate for black Americans ever and the signing of the First Step Act.

“Joe Biden and Kamala Harris put people of color in jail,” he said, but “Donald Trump is giving people a second opportunity.”

President Trump recently announced the creation of the “Platinum Plan,” which would expand on his previous work with the black community. The proposals include the designation of both the KKK and antifa as terrorist organizations, and efforts to push black economic prosperity.
Terrell has said that President Donald Trump has done more in three years for the black community than Obama did in eight.

At the Faith & Freedom Coalition’s Road to Majority Conference in Atlanta, Terrell argued that the Democrats now simply care about obtaining power, and nothing else.
Terrell, who has been a civil rights attorney for 30 years, said that “what makes this country great is that this country gives you an opportunity, equality and an opportunity to be who you want to be,” adding that he puts “the country first.”

“I want to apologize because it took me a little bit too long to get to the right side,” Terrell continued.

Terrell claimed it was simply a “lie” when Democrats challenged “the fairness, the programs, the policies of Donald J Trump” that have done so much to help the black community.

He also discussed the creation of “peaceful” urban neighborhoods with high standards of policing, in opposition to the leftist plans to defund the police. School choice would also be expanded, and there would also be a push for greater black home ownership.

Terrell argued that it was the Republican Party who provide “equality, fairness, [and] personal liberty.” Those who drink the Democrat “Kool-Aid,” he said, buy into the assumption that only the Democrats can help the black community.

“President Trump has done more for African-Americans in the three-and-a-half years than the Obama-Biden administration in eight years,” Terrell said. “It is a fact. It has nothing to do with color.”

“Democrats Don’t Want You To Think. They Want You To Get Angry”
The civil rights attorney said that systemic discrimination no longer exists in the United States.

“How can you have systemic discrimination in cities run by people of color? That is when the whole system is racist. Chicago? Atlanta? They are run by Democrats,” he noted.

He argued that this idea is simply being played up by Democrats who want to “play the race game” and pander to people based on race.

They don’t want you to think. They want you to get angry,” he exclaimed. “I won’t play that game anymore. This country is too important. This country is at a crossroads.”

If that’s really the case why there are riots, ? why there is constant tensions among different ethnicities? why there is an increased visibility of right wing racist groups?

why there are riots
Yes, that’s a good question.

The riots occur in cities with Democratic Party Mayors, Democratic Party controlled City Councils, Democrat state Governors, Democrat District Attorneys, and often Democrat Police Chiefs: Minneapolis, Portland, Seattle, Kenosha, Louisville, Chicago…

Apparently, they are not very strong when it comes to law and order:

FBI list of the 20 cities with the most violent crime, the top 10 of which all have Democratic Party mayors:

New York
Los Angeles
Chicago
Houston
Philadelphia
Memphis
Detroit
Dallas
Phoenix
Baltimore

Out of the next ten cities, two (San Antonio and Las Vegas) have independent mayors, and one (Jacksonville) has a Republican. Bump goes further, listing the top 20 cities with the most violent crime “per 10,000” people. In this list, only one city lacks a Democrat mayor, and that is Springfield, Missouri.

So on the straightforward list of most violent cities, 17 of 20 have a Democrat mayor. For incidents per 10,000 people, 19 out of the top 20 have a Democrat mayor.

Some Hispanics are black, so, this is an apple and oranges comparison
That being said, Joe Biden, pretty consistently says racist stuff. I don’t know why his supporters ignore this, because they do so at his own detriment. Kamala Harris, in the only true thing she has ever said (as far as I know) denounced Biden for racism.

It seems to me, that when I examine coverage of the riots, most of the rioters are younger white folks. I’m not sure what they are tense about.
My multi-ethnic community doesn’t seem to be experiencing tension, and I would suggest that increased visibility comes from news networks looking to stir the pot. They are looking all over for evidence of racism. Creating clickbait brings in the advertising dollars.
I’d hate to see people get into a dust-up because CBS etc. is out trying to peddle a few more cans of coca cola.
Hopefully, after the election, people will settle down. I’m betting, however, that NPR and cronies, will get right back to an hour of wondering how they missed calling the election, and then follow up with another 4 years of negativity and the quest for a racist in every pot.

University Study Finds US Less Racist Under President Trump than Race-Baiting Obama

Unfortunately for your attempt to portray Trump as some shining beacon of racial tolerance, the report to which your link referred suggests that racial division is less over the last few years despite Trumps attitudes. Not because of them.

'These results suggest the limits of racially charged rhetoric’s capacity to heighten prejudice among white Americans overall. They also indicate that rather than being a fixed predisposition, prejudice can shift by reacting against changing presidential rhetoric. The Rise of Trump, the Fall of Prejudice? Tracking White Americans' Racial Attitudes 2008-2018 via a Panel Survey by Daniel J. Hopkins, Samantha Washington :: SSRN

This is what you get if you repost nonsense without checking it first. But thanks for confirming what we already knew about the current incumbent of the White House.

It appears that the author of the news article merely reported the data from the research paper through a different lens than did the authors of the research paper themselves. Which one a person believes seems to heavily depend upon whether one agrees with the assertion that Trump’s statements are racist/racially charged.

If that’s really the case why there are riots, ? why there is constant tensions among different ethnicities?
Because of pot stirring from the Leftists…

Obama allowed the narrative that his opponents were all racially motivated to continued and he he stood by and never said a word.

heighten prejudice among white Americans overall.
Firstly, I truly appreciate that you read my link. I get frustrated sometimes when it doesn’t appear that anybody pays any attention to them.

The authors approached the study with a pre-conceived notion that racial division has increased. This gives the study more credibility because the authors’ pre-conceived notion was proven to be inaccurate. The results of the study, in fact, show that racial tensions have decreased.

So much for the Fake News media that tries to fan the flames of racial division, or to portray an “increasing racial divide”.

I don’t think that I personally know any racists in my life, and I’m guessing most readers probably don’t, either.

We’re all racist to some degree. It’s inbuilt. Trump simply uses it as a political tool.

And in passing, there is an Australian government webpage that advises Autralians about travel to various countries (notwithstanding the present pandemic). It has issued a warning to be extra vigillant in the States during the election. USA Travel Advice & Safety | Smartraveller

It’s a warning you’d expect to see if you were travellng in Indonesia or the Phillipines.

Never thought I’d see the day…

Click this “Matt Miller Daily Caller” link below if you want a good laugh:

A hilarious video is going viral this week in which liberal voters condemn racist statements that they think President Donald Trump made, only to be informed that Joe Biden made them instead.

Matt Miller of the Daily Caller News Foundation approached groups of young people and gave them quotes that he at first said were from President Trump. Here are some examples of the quotes he read out (that were actually said by Joe Biden):

“Unless we do something about this, my children are gonna grow up in a jungle, the jungle being a racial jungle, with tensions having built up so high that it’s going to explode at some point.”

“Poor kids are just as bright as white kids.”

“Obama is the first mainstream African American who is articulate and bright and clean.”

“Unlike the African American community, with notable exceptions, the Latino community is incredibly diverse and with incredibly different attitudes about different things.”

One voter responded to the quotes by saying, “It’s so racist and ignorant in every way. It’s like [Trump has] never interacted with a black person, or anybody else for that matter.” Another described the comments as “unacceptable.”

That you can post a link from The Gateway Pundit and then complain about fake news shows that irony is not dead.

Trump simply uses it as a political tool.
fake news

Two days after violent clashes in Charlottesville, Virginia, in 2017, Trump said, “Racism is evil and those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and other hate groups.”
A month later, the president signed a congressional resolution condemning white supremacy.
In 2019, following shootings in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio, Trump said, “In one voice, our nation must condemn racism, bigotry and white supremacy. ”
“These sinister ideologies must be defeated. Hate has no place in America. Hatred warps the mind, ravages the heart, and devours the soul,” he added.

And, of course, there were the media lies against Nick Sandman, the lies of Jussie Smollet and others against Trump supporters, and dozens of others.

The Fake News has been entirely dishonest in out-of-nowhere claims that Trump is racist. No basis. That is done for the purpose of covering up all the good Trump has done for race relations, especially as compared to Joe Biden.

So how about instead of a theatrical soliloquy you provide the “closer look” analysis into what he hasn’t done? We shouldn’t “fall for the theatre” applies on both sides which puts the onus on you to provide some meat — facts and such — instead of rhetorical flourish.

Only if you subscribe to the genetic fallacy instead of actually pointing out the fakery. Care to demonstrate the actual falsity of the article (or better yet in the cited study by University of Pennsylvania researchers Danial (sp) J. Hopkins and Samantha Washington)?

My suggestion is that if cleaning up fakery is the aim, then we ought to start by throwing out the genetic fallacy as a tool to guide thinking and begin actually assessing the facts and evidence in each article itself.

There is certainly shoddy editing in the article, but that seems more of a rule in journalism these days than an exception.

Fair comment- though you must realise, meat and milk… Re Trump, I would begin by looking at his highest donor and take it from there sir.

Who? Shylock? Sounds like more theatrics.

Why not come right out and say who that “highest donor” is and why they are objectionable?

What about other donors like…

Coalition for American Veterans ($6,043,069)
Rebuilding America Now SuperPAC ($1,410,848)
Moms for Safe Neighborhood SuperPAC ($1,102,104)
Patriots for America PAC ($1,036,376).

Shocking the people who support him… …all those moms and veterans and people who want to build the country instead of loot, burn or tear it down. 😖
