Has science falsified macroevolution?

I never said nothing else exists, I simply meant that I don’t believe in mythologies or superstitions, I see all religions as equal in their lack of reason. If there was reason to believe there was a God or Gods I would, but since there is no evidence it’s all just mumbo jumbo from a bunch of pretenders to me.

Oh really now.
Well, do you have some expressible reason for denying that the boundaries of science are well-established, or do you just want to keep saying “nuh-uh” to everything we post?

Christians make quite a few more claims about God than that he is the First Cause.

(The Flying Spaghetti Monster is the first cause in that parody, by the way.)
We were talking about belief in God in general. The specifics of what Christians believe about God is a separate issue.

Then there is no purpose, morals, or answer to existence. That’s pretty bleak.

OK so you do believe something else may exist. Do you have a belief about a higher power?

Yes, really. Science is science. People may attempt to hijack evolutionary theory for their own purposes; the theory itself is utterly neutral.
This is true; however, while macro-evolution very well may be correct, it is true that all human beings can be traced to the two Original Parents. Polygenism is a minority opinion right now, because the evidence is against it.

Bleak maybe, purpose or answers to existence no there is none but what we make. Morals your wrong about though, morals are a natural human development that have been adopted by religion but would certainly exists without religion.

Some people may call God by different names. As long as the same attributes are understood.

[34](javascript:openWindow(‘cr/34.htm’)😉 The world, and man, attest that they contain within themselves neither their first principle nor their final end, but rather that they participate in Being itself, which alone is without origin or end. Thus, in different ways, man can come to know that there exists a reality which is the first cause and final end of all things, a reality “that everyone calls God”.10

A higher power, well one cannot make a definitive statement one way or the other about it without being closed minded on the issue but I don’t see any sound reason to believe in one so I would say probably not, but hey the Flying Spaghetti Monster may yet strike me down with his noodley appendage or Allah might turn me into a smoking pile of ash.

You exist though right?

I don’t recall starting a discussion re: polygenism vs. monogenism??? I was confining my comments to what qualities or properties one can and cannot ascribe to scientific theory.

Minority opinion of whom? Not science. There is zero evidence for one original pair and plenty of evidence of multiple pairs.

Peace

and that was my point all along.
Not according to what your previous post stated:

“The theory believes X based on observations and reasoning.”

One must take care not to throw the baby (evolutionary theory, for example) out with the bathwater (the twisting or misinterpretation of such for someone’s own purposes.) And, particularly if one is arguing a specific scientific point, use of clear and correct terminology is necessary. That is why I won’t bite off more than I can chew, as my understanding of this topic has definite limits.
