This is just my opinion, but I believe it is in the eight years prior to Trump’s Presidency. Where the former President went on an apology tour where he blamed America for everything but original sin. His anti police rhetoric appeared to start an open season on officers across the country unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Not a great time in our history.

I think this why Ukraine elected a comedian as President.
People world wide are sick of politicians and their “political game playing”…

My opinion are that ‘apology tour’ and ‘anti-police’ are unverified buzzwords used by conservative demagogues because they get a lot of results from less prepared voters. The terms were never accurate and never meant a lot.

I can’t see how either factor kept America from being great. Nor do I see any action of Trump restoring ‘greatness’ in those areas.
 
No president can make America “great again”, it is not up to a President to make over a country. He is meant to keep the oath he made to uphold the Constitution etc. It is the people who are meant to make a country great…great in freely following a life free from evil, free from sin and who choose to follow the ten commandments. When people choose to lie, cheat, kill, worship material things, dishonor God, and authority …blasphemy the name of God, …when people no longer honor or worship God on the Sabbath, choose to steal, not pay their employees a just wage , divorce and remarry, commit adultery, covert their neighbor’s wife and material things …did I forget something? And when they no longer honor their parents…if they even have parents…well, no president can make America Great again but we can. We the people (do those words ring a bell?) can make America Great Again.

I think the President can definitely also make difference though as he “controls” the money and can make programs for social reform, reform the prison system, make pornography illegal, enforce employee just wages to prevent employee exploitation etc.

There is a lot that Governments can do in theory.
In practice they often spend more time bickering back and forth (at least is so in my country).
 
Trump is good business man and negotiator.
In which industries have USA employment now increased?

I understand Trump has now made a good deal with Xi J(name removed by moderator)ing that China will buy certain USA products and USA will buy certain Chinese products so a mutually beneficial deal.
 
Yes, of course…I am tired of the bickering and division in my country.
