Hate Crimes and religion

We saw on a newscast this morning that hate crimes against religion are committed most often against, Jews, Muslims, and Catholics (in that order).

I would like to know the religions of the perpetrators. Do any of you have that information?

Not really. Last week my child’s Jewish day school was vandalized with broken windows and swasticker was taped to the outside wall. The police arrest a 13 year old boy. I don’t know what his religion was…

It doesn’t look to me like they take note of the offenders’ religions.

Furthermore, must government always bow to special interest groups and make new laws, instead of enforcing existing ones. When this happens we get closer to a police state, more red tape,more government interference, more government bungling, redirection of funds that are needed in more important issues, a “feel good” attitude for the special interests & some politicians, another smoke screen for problems with; politicians, parents, society, schools, churches, law enforcement, media etc. When are going to quit making excuses, and deal with problem before it becomes a problem.
One more thing about “hate crimes” are they free speech or actions that people seem to be against. Because if its free speech issue we still have the 1st Amendment to the U.S.Constitution that protects anybody’s right to say what they feel. Within reason, of course. Anything else would be PC (political correctness) liberals word for censorship.
