I saw this video a while ago. The guy doesn’t have a clue what he’s talking about, and is just mouthing off about things he doesn’t understand. Not a single one of his points are valid. First and foremost, he hates on religion; yet he very obviously is endorsing another denomination. He says it’s more than following rules, but he believes in sin. Huh?
Church not giving to the poor? That’s so ignorant I won’t even bother to refute it. Jesus came to abolish religion? He specifically appointed Peter to head it. Paul fought his way through several setbacks to set up churches. It’s like this guy didn’t even read the Bible. Did this guy think the Church came by on accident?
He halfway has a point about hypocrisy, but even there he doesn’t hold much water when you consider that he still follows a certain religion/denomination, despite the fact that he wouldn’t call it that. Get a big enough group of people trying to do right and you will find hypocrisy, even in whatever group he belongs to.
Also, his whole premise is dumb. “I love Jesus, but I hate the foundation he set up to worship Him.”
