Have any CAF members seen "Grace of Monaco"?

Thanks for the article. I think Grace Kelly was a beautiful and good actress. I wonder if she ever regretted leaving her career behind to be Princess Grace of Monaco. I was wondering why I had not heard very much about this movie. I guess Nicole Kidman was the obvious choice for the role. I wonder if they had anyone else in mind. Since I have not seen the movie I do not know what Nicole Kidman brought to the screen. Pretty sad that it never had a theatre release, but went to Lifetime like many of the Princess Diana movies have. Sadly we don’t have cable or satellite anymore so I won’t get to see it unless it goes to DVD. I wish the article would have said specifically why the royal family did not like it.
 
The movie was unconvincing. She didn’t look or sound like Grace. It would be interesting to hear the specific objections her family had to the movie.
 
Kidman just isn’t believable as Grace. I look at her and don’t see Princess Grace, I see Nicole Kidman in period costumes.

That is how I imagined it. Kidman seems so selfconscious most of the time. Grace had poise and the air of royalty about her.
