so saw programe in uk about finding a family grave, with limestone boxes
,all had boxes as was the way 2000 yrs ago,
one was inscribed 'jesus,son of joseph! another, joseph father of jesus, another saying marie mother, and also jesus’s brothers and sisters. the vatican has tried to cover this up! fact!! why!!
 
The box, or at least part of the inscription on it, has been exposed by archeologists as fake, so there is nothing for the Vatican or anyone else to cover up.
 
As I recall, the Israeli government is prosecuting the dealer who was pushing this for fraud.
 
This question needs no further attention. A crack team of albino monks has been dispatched to Surrey, England. The situation will be brought to a close presently.

In all seriousness though, it was proven to be fraudulant. The media loves this idea of ‘‘Vatican cover ups’’ and they’ll run with it for a while longer.

Not only that, but the same antiquities dealer has been accused of forging a ivory pomegranite supposedly from Solomon’s time, that he had sold to the Israel National Museum. As I recall, that case is still being investigated.

Even if it had been real, Jesus Mary and Joseph were common names. There easily could have been another family with a Mary, Jesus and Joseph.
 
Don’t conflate the stories of the James Ossuary with those of the Talpiot Tomb. Though neither is credible, they are unrelated, I think, save for the latter trying to capitalize on the former.
