Have i commited anything here

I was joking around with another and i said to him (while stabbing a hot chicken to see if it was the right temperture) at least these chookes dont say ouch. he then said something that was impure. i laughed mostly with a fake laugh. for a split second i didn’t understood what he meant but then i relized he said something towads women which was impure and in my heart i know what he said was wrong i calmed in laughter but i was still sort of smiling not showing what he said was not good.

have i commited anything grave here. i didn’t say anything impure the other guy did. i wish he didn’t say such a thing to me. but because i sort of laughed and didn’t show that what he said was sinful have i done anything wrong.

If the laugh was just a knee jerk reaction, you are fine. But now that you know that this person may say something inappropriate, be actively listening the next time he says something and be prepared to correct him

If you are young, you may not have experienced enough of the world. Each of us eventually sees enough of the world that we ought to think before we say something or even react to something.

On top of experience, I think each of us has to make a decision for or against Christ. A campaign that seemed to be popular with young people a few years ago was wearing a bracelet with the letters, WWJD which stood for, what would Jesus do?

It’s something to think about. Not only do our words and actions hurt others, but in the end, they may come back to hurt ourself.

We need to take Jesus seriously when He said that we should not judge others.

I don’t think I really understood what that remark was about, but making fun of things is juvenile and you should try to put that sort of thing behind you.
