Have we been reciting too much Hail Mary?

My FRIEND< you’re question seems to indicate a lack of fuller understanding.

It’s NOT one over the other…all catholic prayers end with Jesus!

The Hail Mary is solidly biblical:
ail Mary, [Lk. 1:28]
Full of Grace [Lk. 1:28]
The Lord is with thee [Lk 1:27]
Blessed are you among all women [Lk 1:42]
And Blessed in the fruit of your womb: Jesus [Lk. 1;42]
Holy Mary [Lk.1: 28]
Mother of God 1:35
Pray for us sinners [our catholic petition]
Now and at the hour of our death
Amen” [I BELIEVE!]

The Rosary is one of GODS Greatest gifts to souls struggling to merit heaven. …Mary, truly PERFECT could NEVER advocate something not is FULL agreement; FULL accord with Her Son Jesus Christ. AMEN!

Oh I’ve found the main reason why they pray many Hail Mary. To praise the incarnation of God and fight against Albigenses heresy.

I think that is the answer I beg for answering. And I would like to know whether it is true or not.

It is a legitimate question. I do think there is such a strong focus on Mary as kind of our mediator to Christ that misguided Catholics can sometimes fall into neglect with respect to prayer and attention to Jesus, God, and most of all the Holy Spirit. There is a lack of balance there I have come to believe. I’ve done it myself and seen evidence of it around me. It doesn’t just distort one’s worship of the Holy Trinity, it ironically distorts proper worship and valuing of Mary too.

Misguided Catholics? The only misguided Catholics I ever encounter with regards to Mary are converts. Not all, so no offense. They seem to never fully break free from their protestant beliefs about Mary. The same tired argument of how Catholics make Mary “too” important. How we “worship” Mary etc. etc. Take a look HERE and you’ll see Saints who had ENORMOUS devotion to the Blessed Mother…without any fear whatsoever of offending God. What utter nonsense to think that God is somehow offended by our asking His Mother for guidance or for her intercession. If that’s the case, then there are one hell of a whole lot of saints who were horribly “misguided Catholics” that have led countless souls down this same “dark” road. And that my friend…I highly doubt!

Since 13th century, when Hail Mary was founded, people started lessening the number of Our Father and increasing the number of Hail Mary. Up to now, we are still reciting Hail Mary more than Our Father. How can we explain it? Does God want us to pray more to saints than Him? Thank you very much?

When we pray through the Blessed Mother she perfects our prayers for us. She knows how to present them to God on our behalf.

When we pray the Rosary, we are focusing on Jesus.
