Have you convinced someone of the real presence from quoting scripture?

have you changed someone’s opinion by
quoting scripture ?
Or does it take more like a miracle to demonstrate spiritual truth.

If praying for healing doesn’t always produce results.
Why does praying over the communion elements always produce results ? That you can’t see?

Just by quoting Scripture? I don’t think I have had success from it, usually I try to add a bunch of stuff, like Church father beliefs and various other reasons why the interpretation is accurate, but usually I don’t change people’s minds, sadly.

And about the Eucharist: the priest does not merely pray for the Eucharist to happen.
The priest has the authority to demand it, in a sense. It is part of Holy Orders. It is not mere hopeful praying, but done on authority.

Not to go off subject. But I just felt the need to share on this.

A few months ago I was listening to CAL. I think it was Jimmy Akin who said…

Of course God answers all prayers, with one of 3 responses.
  1. Yes
  2. Not Yet
  3. I have a better plan.
It really stuck with me. I have a better plan sounds so much more like God, than NO. It gives us that little reminder that God knows what we need before we need it.

Just felt like sharing,

God Bless

PS No luck at the convincing, as far as I know.
