Have You Ever Been Mistaken For an Angel?

Someone said I was an angel once when I caught a toddler as he was falling head first towards a concrete floor. I just laughed. It was a knee-jerk reaction.
 
I haven’t been mistaken for an angel, but I have been mistaken for the devil. 😛
 
Nope, never, not once. I have been mistaken for other things though 😛 I have been called many things, but never an angel.
 
I’m often confused with St Michael. It’s my dazzling blue eyes.
 
Maybe he meant monkey?

I couldn’t resist that.

At Adoration I was remembering all the abused animals in my prayers. I happened to say to Jesus, “I wonder what would happen if I brought a monkey along for a visit?” It seemed He replied, “You could always tell everyone the monkey is your uncle.” That was unexpected and funny.

I should know, because i am the one that gave them to you. We install them in all our prototypes, just before we install the fake memories.

Angel is an office. The office is filled by pure spirits or anyone else handy who can do it. The angelic office serves God and man. Messages or services God wants to deliver. It seems to me you occupied the angelic office saving the kid. Like pure spirits, you already had the necessary powers and you just did it.

First, not being outrightly TOLD directly that they thought that you were, that would ruin the magic of the mystery of the situation. Someone mentioned ‘ synchronization ‘ of time - it’s along those lines. And the person, or people, are total strangers. They recognize something in you…unworldly…and its NOT thinking that you yourself have any sort of supernatural power.
As I say, it’s a rare instance. But sometimes things just fall incredibly into place. It’s NOT about saving someone’s life or anything like that. Sometimes, God’s grace drops, and find yourself walking in this total clarity of mood…a surrounding mood.
Anyways 🤭 some of the replies were quite fun to read.

Not at all. Sometimes a person without faith at all can be used as a messenger from God. All that is required is that they have what is necessary to do it and that they will act. Act involuntarily or voluntarily. How many times has a person heard God speaking to them through a person who doesn’t even know it? I think it’s more often filled involuntarily than voluntarily since knowing our act is fulfilling the angelic office can lead to seeking it and be scandalous…
