Excellent post!I agree with Michael Mayo, who is so very wise and pure hearted in spirit. One is best to be silent about spiritual graces received from God or mystical experiences, so as to avoid the temptation of spiritual pride, which is the greatest enemy of the holy life. As Meister Eckhart once said: “The finest thing that we can say of God is to be silent concerning him from the wisdom of inner riches”.That is, unless one, with the approval of the Church or out of a desire to aid another person who needs guidance or requests it, decides to relate their experiences for the common good.
It is not wrong, however, to seek guidance on spiritual experiences one has had or to share them for the benefit of others.
