Have you ever met someone on here whom you knew in real life?

I have never met someone on here that I know in real lifeā€¦as far as I know, none of my family members/friends have accounts on here. There are people that I have met on CAF that I would like to meet in real life though.

I do have to mention that I met a girl here on CAF who is a few years younger than I, who has been in correspondence with my aunt (mentioned in my signature) because she wants to eventually join the religious order. My aunt is the vocation director for the order, soā€¦lol. That was kind of odd, but it was neat tooā€¦sheā€™s a real nice girl. šŸ™‚

Iā€™ve worried about that too!! As far as I know none of our family or friends is on here and if they are, no one has said anythingā€¦maybe itā€™s the name I haveā€¦Iā€™m not always a happymommy:D

uh-oh, I gather you locked horns in these forums once or twice? It happens, good question, though! Looks like mostly everyone seems to be connected in this virtual town, lol.
 
There are only a few I could see meeting up with. I havenā€™t the pleasure as of yet however.

Oh, and to answer the actual question- No, Iā€™ve never met someone here that I know. My boyfriend had an account here, but we both joined during the period where all the posts & new member accounts got lost. I remade my account, but I donā€™t think he ever did.

Wacko-mart is my name for walmart. I donā€™t know why, but the wackos tend to crawl out of the woodwork at that place and a mom with 9 kids in tow seems to really attract them. Donā€™t know why. Just saying thatā€™s our experince.šŸ¤·
Itā€™s happened beforeā€¦ people have read my blog or we were on a large family e-group or they knew a friend who knew me from a hmeschool group or something.
Really itā€™s just a far smaller world than people think.
