Have you ever re-gifted?

I find it extremely rude and highly distasteful. If someone has made the effort to buy you something, it’s always the thought that counts, not the value of the gift or if you have any use for it. I could never in my heart ‘regift’ it to someone else. Thankfully I have friends who know me well and I them!
