Have you ever suggested the Rosary as the solution?

I have, over the last few years, suggested to friends/family in distress, to start praying the rosary and be confident our Blessed Mother will help. These have been non practicing (and ignorant of the faith in general terms)Catholics. My suggestion is not always acted on except most recently a family member in distress over his family/children. I never say “maybe our Blessed Mother will help” but 'be confident". I think getting them to know the BVM is as real as us is the first hurdle. I often feel like I have just jumped off the cliff myself in faith as these people are really in distress and their problem really significant.

the Rosary is the solution, so the answer is yes.
The rosary is the shortcut to solving family, faith, and other dilemmas. There are other ways, but this is the fastest. Mother knows best. If the goal is to get closer to Jesus, she being his mom, knows how to do this (guess she must still keep tabs on him).

Well, she is a Jewish Mother, isn’t she?

Seriously, I just suggested the Rosary novena to a lady who had a recurrance of cancer. Our sacristant has a few stories which give wittness to this powerful novena.

Yes, I am hearing more and more about the power of the Rosary.
. Father Corapi is always saying it is the most powerful of prayer, and how it helped him. Father Padre Pio called it his weapon. He would say, " Bring me my weapon." when sick and could not get up 🙂

I am actually bringing it back into my life after many years of not saying it.

Pope John PaulI thought the Rosary so powerful he added one more set of meditations to it. The light or Illumious devotions. i pray the rosary everyday. i have it on my I pod so i can say it in traffic. All of my prayers have always been answere from devotion to the rosery except one and i am still praying on that one .but i am patient. Mary said at Fatima Pray and Pray Hard for the comvertion of sinners and salvation.

False hope is cruel and I usually say few words when I have suggested the rosary as the answer to their painful situation. I am confident our Blessed Mother will assist them but am clueless how. Like going to Lourdes for a physical cure and coming home not cured but definitely touched by BVM and her son.

My father-in-law, an old man of few words, spoke up today at a family picnic. He said, “The Rosary takes care of everything. It is a powerful weapon.”

Those were powerful words coming from him.

I don’t suggest as much as I probably should, but yes, I have suggested it.

It was suggested to me and it saved my life. Can’t say enough about the power of The Rosary. It is THE weapon! Have suggested it a time or 2, once with miraculous results. I bought one for a relative (Catholic) that didn’t say the rosary, when he started to say it, it changed his life. Awesome!!!
