Have you ever taken Holy Communion to the sick?

I was allowed to this past Sunday. It was an awesome experience. It was with great awareness that I carried the Body of our Lord to a friend that was ill. I have not experienced this level of awareness before. The only other experience that comes close to this level of awareness was once while in Eucharistic adoration. Both were humbling ordeals.

I was wondering if anyone else had been given this privilege and wanted to share your thoughts and experiences.

i took the bread and wine of jesus once because of my illness i learned all i need is one time for a full effect, if one can have enough faith or good reason i believe once for anything is enough. however i was quite amazed once when i saw holy water in a church. i recond my best experience was the holy water, every church should have it. taking some home would be cool. still when i eat bread toast or a sandwich ive always thought it has a partial effect.
