Have you ever walked out on a movie?

I have had the misfortune of watching a few bad flicks that made me wish I not only had my money back but also the two hours of my life I wasted. I agree with many of the films already mentioned. One movie comes to my mind, in which I wish I could have forever erased from my mind. Though I understood the basic premise of Kubrick’s movie A Clockwork Orange, I still wish I could erase the movie from my memory. The opening scene was a brutal rape scene in which the lead character played by Malcolm McDowell rapes the wife while singing “Singing in The Rain” in front the traumatized husband forced to watch. I can never here “Singing in The Rain” without bring that scene back into my memory.

Indeed - Clockwork Orange is one heck of a frightful movie, apparently based on a book which must be equally horrid.

We walked out of one of the Scary Movie series( the spoof on scary movies)…it was so profane in the first couple of minutes that I knew we couldn’t justify sitting there watching the rest.

Instead we went into the adjacent theater and watched the Patriot. Much better!

Oh yes…moulin rouge…lol That movie just stunk! Sad, I like Nicole Kidman…but it was so bizarre…never ever finished watching it no matter how many times I’ve given it a chance.

I also never could get into the Lake House…anyone tell me what on earth that movie was about? How were two people in two different eras getting letters to each other? I don’t get it!!!:crying:

Oh, I love The Lake House. But then I love all time travel kind of movies.

Some of that movie was cute, but WHY was she LIVING with her boyfriend?

I never walked out while in theater but I did turn off some movies from renting it from blockbuster. Godfather was one of them so boring and the story was confusing to me

I don’t go to the cinemas often enough to have seen a movie bad enough to walk out on.

But I have shut off a movie at home. I borrowed some of the Star Trek movies from the library. II, III, IV, and VI are good, but I got through about thirty minutes of Star Trek V, turned it off, and fast forwarded to the ending to see if it was worth going back to see how they resolved the situation. It wasn’t.

That movie was SO BAD!

I should’ve walked out of the movie “Wanted”, but I didn’t.

It was rated R, but should’ve been rated NC-17 for the excessive bloody violence and language (first part of the movie seemed almost every other word was a foul word). The story and the plot twist, I liked, but they could’ve and should’ve toned down the language and gore.
