Have you ever...

Has anyone out there ever been:
a) Pocessed
b) experienced a vison
c) had some authentic supernatural experience.
I only ask because I had a reall wierd dream last night where I commited this aweful sin then realized I was pocessed and all I remember is that ever time I (my soul) threw holy water on myself, I felt relieved. Then all the other people were pocessed and I threw holy water on them, and they were relieved to. It was really cool (but scary).:eek:
 
When I was a teenager, and questioning the existence of God (as I am sure most teenagers do), I had dreams of falling from great heights. Just before hitting the ground and certain death, I would wake up in a cold sweat from the nightmare I imagined death would be. The same dream came often and I was spending a lot of time worrying about death. The last time I ever had the dream, I started the fall. An angel appeared next to me and asked why I was afraid. I told the angel I was afraid to die. My angel said “Recite the Our Father with me.” We prayed the Our Father together. I remember thinking that I wouldn’t have time to finish before hitting the ground. But for some reason I had plenty of time. Just as I said “Amen” my angel lifted me up and we began to soar. Then I woke up and instead of being afraid, I was sad the dream had to end! It was such a revelation. Now, almost 40 years later, I truly believe that God was letting me know that he is alive and well and waiting for me—I just have to remember to “keep the faith”.
I keep a journal that I hope my children and grandchildren will read years from now with many, many encounters with the Holy Spirit either in dreams or in reality. My feeling is that if we don’t look and listen for our Lord in our everyday lives–through prayer and works and yes, even in our dreams-- we will often miss His call. I think often of what would have happened if St. Joseph had not listened to the angels in his dreams!
 
I always have dreams where one of my friends or family members get possessed, and i perform exorcisms on them… they feel real, im not sure why i have them… God bless

Is it necessary for faithful Catholics to believe that demons can possess people? For one thing, they should be locked down in hell, according to 2 Peter 2:4 **For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment.

Maybe it’s your subconscious encouraging you to go to confession. Maybe your soul wants to feel the sweet coolness of grace.
