Have you heard of a "Blessing Cup" for the home?

Our Parish has announced via the bulletin that we will engage in a new ministry called the “Blessing Cup” where families sign up to take home a “Cup”.

This cup will be the responsibility of the family for one week where they will place it in their home in an assigned place of honor and pray for vocations.

Hvae you heard of this? Is this something that is orthodox or, more in line with liturgical dancing and other new age nonsense?
