Have you noticed that news programs have added more black men and women to its programs?

What we see on news programs is representative of our diverse society I think.
I agree with that.

I, myself, find I tend to trust over-40 newscasters more than the young ones. I want people who’ve been around for some time, who’ve seen and experienced a lot. I watch CNN (I know some of you hate it, that’s irrelevant here), and most of the news anchors and reporters are over forty: Erin Burnett (my favorite), Chris Cuomo, Alisyn Camerota, Anderson Cooper, Dana Bash, Gloria Borger, etc., all over forty. Our local newscasters here are mostly over-40, too.

I watched CNN when it was the first and only 24 hour cable news show and I wasn’t into politics then. However, as I matured and started listening to conservative radio shows and then FOX came on the air I only watched certain shows on CNN, but never watched unless it was a breaking news event like a disaster of some kind. John Walsh had a good show on CNN called Most Wanted and I watched a good documentary on Netflix produced by CNN films called The Hunting Ground. The Anthony Bordain shows on CNN were interesting.
